Southern Web acquires Firing Squad

Not many businesses have the resources, time, or experience to run their own email lead generation campaign. This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to expand Southern Web’s services to better our clients’ lead generation efforts.

Founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Jason Bagley, Firing Squad uses outbound lead generation techniques and marketing automation to deliver new sales relationships to B2B business clients around the world. Bagley and his team have helped clients land sales meetings with major brands like Mercedes-Benz, Red Bull, Garmin, Adidas, RE/Max, Acer, and more.

As part of the acquisition, Firing Squad’s experienced lead generation experts will join the Southern Web team and bring their skills and insight into the companies’ combined roster of clients. Bagley will assume the role of SiteCare’s Vice President of Lead Generation.

Bagley met SiteCare founder Drew Barton through Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global organization that empowers entrepreneurs to grow and learn from each other through networking and professional development opportunities.

“My goal was always to grow Firing Squad into an international business, and through EO, that dream is now a reality,” Bagley says. “I’m excited to continue building this business as a shareholder of Southern Web.”

This is the second major acquisition for Southern Web. In 2018, the company acquired WordPress maintenance and support agency SiteCare — solidifying us as a world leader in WordPress maintenance services and digital marketing solutions.

Step 1: Kick-Off Call & Strategy Guide

Step 2: Email Sequence & List Creation

Southern Web begins assembling a list of high-value prospects and crafting a custom email sequence that speaks directly to the client’s target audience.

Step 3: Email Delivery Setup & Testing

After setting up software to send emails on the client’s behalf, the email sequence is tested in various email clients and against multiple spam filters to help ensure a smooth launch.

Step 4: Lead Management & Optimization

Once the campaign launches, emails are sent to prospects to invite them to a specific call to action, and any responses are tracked and synchronized within the client’s CRM.
