Sales Development Representative

We’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with experience in establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with a variety of leaders in technical, marketing, and executive roles.  

The SDR serves as our initial point of contact for our potential clients.  This role is responsible for contacting customers from our lead generation efforts, including phone, chat, email and website.  They will document all leads in our CRM, pre-qualify them, and then schedule a call with an Account Executive.  

The SDR is ambitious, passionate, goal-oriented.  The leader holding the role of the SDR is consistent and undaunted by rejection. The SDR requires empathy, some technical understanding, a relentless desire to succeed, and a passion for being part of a winning team and solving the problems of others.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. Compensation is dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contact leads quickly and set meetings with Account Executives
  • Consistently manage the sales pipeline
  • Target prospective clients with email, calls, text messages, or mail methods
  • Build partnerships with other agencies to help support their maintenance and marketing needs
  • Be persistent with leads to increase acceptance rates

Personal Skills and Attributes

  • You have strong communication skills. This means your grammar, spelling, tone of emails and verbal communication skills are excellent
  • You’re highly organised and always looking how to efficiently use software such as ClickUp, Slack, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Google Docs and other tools
  • You have a bias towards action and are solution orientated
  • Authoritative gravitas in solution selling positions
  • Desire to continually do better

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience selling a technical solution
  • Experience with selling website development, lead generation, or digital marketing preferred
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as HubSpot, SalesForce or PipeDrive
