Your builds deserve a better handoff than a freelancer on Upwork.

SiteCare partners with top-tier WordPress agencies to provide post-launch maintenance that protects your code, keeps your clients happy, and brings them back to you for the next big project.

See how it works

The project ends. The relationship shouldn’t.

You spent months building something exceptional. Custom theme. Complex integrations. Performance dialed in. Then the engagement ends and the client needs ongoing support.

You know your full retainer rate doesn’t make sense for routine maintenance. Or you can let them walk and hope whoever they hire next doesn’t wreck six months of careful engineering.

There’s a third path. One where your client gets real WordPress expertise at a price point that makes sense, and you stay connected for the lifecycle of that site.

Why do we offer WordPress Maintenance for Agencies?

Time and time again we watch the same patterns emerge.

Three steps. No complexity.

We built this to require zero ongoing effort from your team. No contracts to co-sign, no complicated arrangements. You refer, we onboard, you know your clients are watched after and will be referred back.

Introduce us before launch

Ideally, 30 to 60 days before the site goes live, loop us in. We’ll learn the architecture, review the codebase, and prepare for a clean transition. Your client meets their ongoing team while you’re still actively engaged. Need to move faster? We can onboard in a pinch too.

We onboard the client directly

SiteCare handles the entire onboarding: hosting migration (if needed), monitoring setup, Core Web Vitals baseline, and a dedicated account manager. You stay informed throughout.

You keep the relationship

We handle day-to-day maintenance and on-demand requests that we can tackle in two weeks or less. When they need something bigger, we send them back to you. That’s the deal.

Everything but major builds.

Your client gets a real team, not a ticketing system that leads to nowhere. Here’s what SiteCare covers so your agency can focus on larger-ticket projects.

Three things you can hold us to.

Your good work stays intact.

Our team reviews your codebase during onboarding. We understand your architecture before we touch anything. Custom themes, complex integrations, and specific configurations are respected.

We’ll send them back to you.

We handle smaller iterative development requests. Larger projects like redesigns, new features, or strategic builds get referred to you. That’s a hard boundary, and it keeps us in our lane.

We’ll keep you in the loop.

Quarterly partner updates. A heads up when something significant changes. You’ll never be surprised by what’s happening with a client you referred.

Things to know before you reach out.

Will you try and upsell our clients on development work?

We take on development work that we can complete in two weeks or less. Content changes, feature additions, plugin work, and similar requests are all things we deliver to your client. Anything that exceeds that two week window like redesigns, new feature builds, migrations, strategic projects, etc. get referred back to you. Not only that, we’ll tee up the conversation and explain why your agency is a better option for the larger initiative.

What’s your team’s WordPress experience?

WordPress is all we do. We actively work on the WordPress VIP platform and understand VIP-specific workflows: code review processes, deploy pipelines, VIP CLI, mu-plugins architecture, and the restrictions that come with that environment. We’re equally comfortable with sites on Pantheon, WP Engine, or other popular managed hosts. Our engineers handle custom block themes, ACF, custom blocks, WooCommerce, multisite, and complex plugin ecosystems daily.

What does the handoff process look like?

Ideally, you introduce us 30 to 60 days before launch. We review the codebase, set up monitoring, and schedule an onboarding call with the client. You’re copied on everything during the transition. If timing is tighter, we can compress the process. Most handoffs are complete within a week of launch either way.

Do our clients need to be on the WordPress VIP platform?

No. We work with sites on almost any hosting environment. What matters is the quality of the build, not where it’s hosted. If your agency built it to a professional standard, we can maintain it. We do have experience with WordPress VIP specifically, but we support clients across the full range of enterprise WordPress infrastructure.

What if a client is already post-launch?

That works too. Many of our agency partnerships start with clients who launched months ago and still need a maintenance home. The onboarding is the same; we just do a deeper initial audit since we weren’t involved pre-launch.

How much do your clients typically pay?

We have plans that start at $400 per month, but most agency-referred clients land about $2,000 per month.
